GN25L53 is a high bandwidth transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with automatic gain control (AGC) and manufactured in a low cost pure complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process. The AGC enables high dynamic range, resulting in a high performance TIA suitable for fiber optic applications such as gigabit passive optical network (GPON), common public radio interface (CPRI) and OC-48 SONET.
Designed for use with avalanche photodiodes (APD) and featuring data polarity invert, photodiode monitor and monitor invert functions, the GN25L53 offers a flexible, high-performance receiver solution for cost-sensitive 3.1Gbps applications such as GPON optical networking units (ONUs). The GN25L53 forms a low-cost chipset with the GN25L98 GPON transceiver.
