CAMARILLO, Calif., Apr. 23, 2018 – Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading supplier of analog and mixed signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms, and Lowan, a leading low power wide area network (LPWAN) solution provider located in Hangzhou, China, will keynote on Apr. 25 at the Metering China 2018 Conference and discuss the immense benefits of LoRa® devices and wireless radio frequency technology (LoRa Technology) in the metering industry. Semtech will exhibit its solutions from Apr. 23 – 27 in booth 206.
For water and gas metering, LoRa architecture significantly reduces deployment cost and lower end-node cost due to reduction in battery sizes. Semtech will showcase how its LoRa Technology is leveraged in this vertical and enables utility companies to receive information over much longer distances than cellular solutions with highly-optimized power consumption both within the physical communication layer and the LoRaWAN™ protocol.
